"Stand Alone Board" Requirements
- Two D-Port connections to the front end board (FEB)
- Support both GT or I/O interface to (FEB)
- Requires fanout ICs and MUXs
- I/O for low speed serial
- GT for high speed serial
- Support 8x GT for Back End Board (BEB) and FEB
- 4x for FEB on D-Port Connector
- 4x for BEB on 4x SFP+ cages
- GT support up to 6.6 Gbps
- Optionally 10 Gbps with more expensive FPGA
- Support ATLAS timing
- SFP cage (same as CHESS2 board)
- Includes CDR IC
- Support Jitter Cleaner IC for GBT communication
- Some BNC connectors for TTL IN and TTL OUT
- Diff. LEMO connector for external clock
- +12VDC Power
"FMC to KC705" Requirements
- Two D-Port connections to the front end board (FEB)
- Support both GT or I/O interface to (FEB)
- Requires fanout ICs and MUXs
- I/O for low speed serial
- GT for high speed serial
- Support 4x GT FEB on D-Port Connector
- Support ATLAS timing
- SFP cage (same as CHESS2 board)
- Includes CDR IC
- Support Jitter Cleaner IC for GBT communication
- Some BNC connectors for TTL IN and TTL OUT
