Summary

  • Simulated events can be indexed with small ~1% rate of mismatch.
  • NOTE: in processing of simulated events
    • detector background is not accounted
    • peaks were selected with very lower thresholds
    • other peak parameters were set "reasonably well" and were not tuned.
    • due to very broad peaks in MC w/o noise and not tuned peak selection parameters, sometimes peak position is reconstructed with offset that makes bad fit quality and may cause offset of phi and and beta.
  • It is shown that for crystal with 180° symmetry in omega look-up table should be generated in the range of 0-180° for direct and mirror-reflected (swapped a↔b, or gamma in the unit cell or beta=180°).
