The LCLS-II Temperature Monitoring System will monitor accelerator components from the Gun to the Electron Dump.
For Early injector commissioning, the soft IOC will consist of sensors monitoring temperatures in
- Gun Temperature - 24 sensors.
- Gun Beam line - 12 sensors.
Laser Room Temperature Monitoring- 5 sensors located around the laser room for monitoring the ambient temperature. 5 sensors per optics table and 1 sensor per oscillator for monitoring respective temperatures. Additionally, there will be 1 sensor located near the UV table and 2 for the laser heater table on either side.
Phase Reference Line Temperature Monitoring - 4 sensors
Waveguide & Penetration Temperature Monitoring- 2 temperature sensors/ penetration. ( 6 sensors).
Facilities Temperature - Water - 4 sensors, Air - 2 sensors
