Pro GUIDE

  • very simple
  • very fast
  • WYSIWYG
  • supports MVC 'out-of-the-box'

Contra GUIDE

  • hard to maintain (to add/remove widgets)
  • limited amount of widgets (e.g., no imscrollpanel etc.)
  • in general, less flexibility from programmer's point of view

Decision: If only standard widgets are used, GUIDE saves time and forces the programmer to comply with the MVC paradigm.
