Now, 4/6/2010, they want to occupy trailers 294 and 271 inside the fence and close to SSRL. The networks will be administered by SSRL and a switch has been purchased. Once again the contact person is Janice Dabney.
Policy
- Networked printers are servers and are not allowed on the visitors subnet; in order to allow printing from the visitor subnet, the printer *must* be properly managed and maintained. This means a SLAC person must be responsible for ensuring its management. This will provide print queues etc that can be configured on each required computer so that they can print to it.
