The Experiment Control Systems group and DAQ group (formerly 1/3 of the Photon Control and Data Systems (PCDS) group) is responsible for providing all the control and data systems needed by the photon side of the Linac Coherent Light Source (LCLS). LCLS Engineering can be found here.

PCDS Featured featured in SLAC Today:  June 12, 2013 and February 24, 2010.This infrastructure covers all the subsystems of the eXperimental End Stations (XES), the X-ray Transport Optics and Diagnostics (XTOD), the LUSI experiments, the Atomic, Molecular and Optical physics Instrument (AMO), MEC, and other future instruments.
