4. Carefully remove the kapton taped used to secure the metal sheet.

Note: This metal sheet is used to reduce friction between the bellows(containing the internal water cooling lines) and the frame of the detector.

5. IMPORTANT: This part of the detector is extremely sensitive. A bag is placed over the lens to act as a protective barrier. If the lens is accidentally bumped, please notify any of the lead instrument scientists.

Image Added6. Prepare for disconnecting the waterlines by conducting a water purge using the forced air hookup. Turn off the water chiller unit connected to the waterlines contained in the internal bellows. Inlet and outlet lines on the water chiller unit are disconnected and placed in a bin to hold the purged liquid. Wait ~10 minutes to allow all the liquid to pass.

Secure the breadboard to the face of the shield using 1/4"-20 prior to craning. This will act as a base for the detector can.
