The 1 micron focusing lens is the second set of focusing lenses in CXI, this stack is located on Diagnostics Section 2 (DG2). This device can be used on an unfocused beam to produce a 3x3 micron focus at the sample.  

Multiplexing lenses

This stack of lenses located down stream of the CSPAD detector and is made for refusing the beam.
