voms-proxy-init -voms ilc:/ilc/sid
# give passwd etc.
By default the proxy is valid for 12 hours which might be too short. To obtain e.g. a proxy that is valid for 72 hours issue the command:
voms-proxy-init -hours 72 -voms ilc:/ilc/sid
