Please know that we recommend CentOS 7 as the server you use. 'rhel6-64' and 'iris' are End of Life (EoL) and are in the process of being retired.
To SSH to your on-site desktop, we recommend you use jump.slac.stanford.edu for network access and then SSH onto your computer on-site.
