WHIZARD 2 is a good tool for more precise cross section calculations because it computes every possible channel between the given initial and final states. One necessary restriction of this is that unlike MadGraph, you do not have control over the intermediate channels, such as whether your mu+ mu- > b b~ process is mediated by a Z or h boson. In addition, stdhep files generated by WHIZARD do not retain little Monte Carlo information about the event. Refer to the website for instructions on installing and using WHIZARD 2.
