- Email cpo@slac.stanford.edu asking him to create a folder for you.
- Download appropriate (mac/windows) version of cyberduck from http://cyberduck.ch
- For Mac: drag the downloaded file into your "Applications" folder
- run Run the application by double-clicking
- Click on "Open New Connection" on the top-left, then enter the following on the window that appears:
- Select "SFTP (SSH File Transfer Protocol)" using the top drop-down menu
- Enter your SLAC UNIX username/password
- For "Path" use: /afs/slac/g/suncat/vol2/suncatshare
- Click connect
- After connecting, using the "action" drop-down menu at the top, select "New Bookmark". You only have to do this once, in order to remember the above settings.
For future connections, you can avoid all the above and click on the appropriate "bookmark" icon.
