You should request a SLAC computing
|

Register with SLUO (SLAC Users Organization)
To register, fill in the form located at

|
* On the second page, the current reference person is Richard Partridge.
|
|
Apply for a SLAC computer account (apply for linux and windows)
Fill, print, sign, scan the computer account request form at http://www2.slac.stanford.edu/comp/slacwide/account/account.html
Send the form to the CDMS computer czar, Concetta (Tina) Cartaro, or the SLAC supervisor, Richard Partridge, to be approved and sent to the SLAC account-services.

If you do not receive feedback within 2-3 working days please contact Tina or Richard.
Follow directions for changing the default password(s) as soon as possible.

Failing to do so will result in the account locking, pending completion of the course.

Our git repositories are hosted on Nero, one of three computers at SUF (Stanford Underground Facility) maintained by Steve Yellin. You should get an account on Nero if you plan to work with SuperCDMS software.
To get an account on the SUF cluster,
- you should first register as member of the CDMS Collaboration here
- and then email Steve Yellin (see the SuperCDMS address book for his email) with your preferred username.
