Connection Details

Connection details should include:

  • Target chamber flange/feedthru
  • Controller ID and specific interface, e.g. card, port,...
  • Digi/moxa name and port (if used)
  • IOC
    • From IOC we will determine server and then rack location
  • Connection to server, e.g. ethernet, usb3, etc.


Note from Dimitri (27 March 2024):

For records (and maybe consistency):

  • Our detector Q3 is connected in place of quad1 on the PDU and pgp card, alias in the daq is also Epix10kaQuad1.
  • epix100_0 for XPCS is connected in place of epix3 on the PDU and pgp card, alias in the daq is still epix100a_0_xpcs because we did not want to mess up with the scripts.
