Gathering RGA data

first thing's first, double check:

      • valves between RGA and turbo are open
      • pressure is below 7e-
    10
      • 6 torr
  • valve to RGA is open

heck, double check all valves!

Attach RGA cart to chamber in question.

keep valve between cart and chamber closed!

gather baseline data:

with valve between cart and chamber closed

gather at least 12hrs of data on the cart alone, note CCG pressure at the end of data gathering.

send baseline data to Peter Stefan for approval to valve in. 

gather chamber qualification data:

open the valve between cart and chamber

collect at least 12hrs of data, note CCG pressure at the end of data gathering.

send data sets to Peter Stefan for qualification. 

what data to send

Email data to Peter Stefan (and CC Brady Robertson

...

) for official qualification judgement. Include:

      1. Cart number
      2. The pressure that the cold cathode gauge
  • reads as
      1. (CCG) read before data collection
  • stops

Always go through Peter Stefan. He is the official arbiter of chamber qualification, and he must have the final say. If you do not do this, the chamber is not considered qualified from an administrative controls standpoint, and you will have seven years of bad luck.
