Oracle 

  • Daniel Flath made contact (Thanks to Ian MacGregor) with Oracle IT Support about some of the Java stored procedure issues that have slowed down development and fixing a dead-lock issue recently.
  • Ian MacGregor is working with the Oracle group at Stanford Campus to get a direct account with Oracle Support for Daniel Flath so he can submit problem reports directly and get faster turn around when future problems arise.

Web

ETE1 Support Requirements (Learned from Level-1 Processing Demo, Wednesday March 7)

  • Improve pipeline rollback capability (Streams work, Processes don't)
  • SO needs to huddle with Max to better define how the data monitoring should find histograms and display it

Oracle

  • GLAST databases glast-oracle01 and glast-oracle02 are patched to deal with DST change (Sunday March 11).

Web

  • Max Turri has been working with ISOC folks to provide monitoring services for ETE1Tony Johnson and Max Turri have fixed some minor bugs introduced with the GLAST Commons web upgrades last week.

Data Server

  •  Igor Pavlin is working to introduce on parallelization of skimmer jobs to the Data Server task. 
    • Some collaboration is required with David Chamont to get this working more easily,
    • When complete, it will greatly improve the speed at which pruner and peeler requests are turned around

Pipeline  

  • Tony Johnson has nearly finished adding the new variable querying tools requested by Warren Focke and Larry Wai to support L1 processing.
  • Daniel Flath has been refactoring the Pipeline and Data Catalog code to make dependencies and the build process less complicated.
  • Wilko Kroeger is configuring XRoot for storing GLAST data. He has demonstrated file transfers and is working to provide other utilities such as file listing.

Pipeline

  • Tony Johnson has been fine tuning scripting and batch facilities to better support the L1-Demo and ETE1.
  • Daniel Flath has been working on fixing Process Rollback
  • Cluadia Levalley has a working version of the Job-Control package Cluadia Levalley is making good progress on job submission at Lyon.  Still required are:
      a bit more to do with submission / job-status monitoring (almost done)
    • setting up a Glast-Release at Lyon (to doin progress)
    • sending output data back to SLAC (to do)overall about 25% complete (after one week of work

Pipeline Users Group

  • The PUG (Tom Glanzman, Warren Focke, etc.) has been quite active lately writing utilities to help Pipeline II users and supplying feedback to developers to (re)define Pipeline behavior.
