| The object store for the S3DF data storage (/sdf/data/lcls/ds) has connection problems and data on it can not be accessed and therefore accessing files will likely fail with "Remote I/O error"
next update 3pm PST Feb. 10 – see https://s3df.slac.stanford.edu/ | Please refrain from writing new data to /sdf/data/lcls/ as that might fill up the flash storage. The Object store itself is up and the data are fully protected the issue is that the fast flash layer can not interact with the object store.
If the outage persists /sdf/data/lcls/ will be unmounted.
