This is the overall status display for the beam-based feedbacks in MATLABLEFT SIDE SECTION

Feedback Summary Displays

Feedback Control: this button will bring up a screen with controls for all feedbacks.
Launch Summary Plots:    this button will bring up a screen of summary feedback plots. One plot for each transverse feedback.
Global Watcher Status: This status square appears in yellow or red if the Global Watcher application has indentified an error condition.  Please see the Watcher window for an error description.

RIGHT SIDE DISPLAY
This section is arranged with each feedback system as one row of status buttons and displays. Feedbacks of similar type are grouped within a box.  The buttons and displays are arranged in columns.

COLUMN ONE: Feedback Status
The button under this column has the name of the feedback on it. This button will bring up a detail screen for the named feedback.
The colored square next to this button displays the current status of the feedback.  Green means its ON, yellow means its is operating near a limit on the states, actuators or measurement devices, red means it is ON with an error condition.  This area will display the OFF string when the feedback is off. Next to this color indicator, there is a number displayed that should be continuously incrementing (updating every 2 seconds) as long as the feedback is running.  It will get stuck at one value if the matlab feedback crashes. If this number gets stuck, go to the Feedback Control Screen and STOP, then START the crashed feedback.

COLUMN TWO: Hostname
This column displays the name of the host computer on which the feedback matlab script is running.

COLUMN THREE: Feedback OFF error string.
This string is visible only if all feedbacks of one type are OFF.  In normal operations the Laser Power Set, Bunch Charge, Gun Launch, one Injector Launch and one Longitudinal feedback should always be on.  The error string is there to indicate when the feedbacks are not on as required.

Longitudinal Summary Plots: this button will bring up a screen with all Longitudinal Feedback plots.

Update All Act Refs: this button runs a script to save ALL feedback actuator reference values to storage PVs.

General Feedback Controls

This section contains controls for several functions related to feedback.

Feedback Lowest TMIT: this is the value that feedbacks use to compare TMIT for valid data from BPMs.  If the TMIT reading of a BPM is lower than this value, the feedback will not use the BPM X or Y data.

L2/L3 Energy and Chirp:

The Desired row allows the user to set a desired value for the L2 or L3 energy or chirp. These controls can only be used when the Longitudinal feedback is OFF. The string 'Disabled' will be displayed in red when the longitudinal feedback is operating.

The Actual row displays the actual value of the L2 or L3 energy or chirp, based on the settings of the L2 and L3 RF abstraction layer amplitude and phase settings. The actual values are updated once per second.

Longitudinal Feedback

This section shows the Status of the Longitudinal Fast Feedback. The following describes each of the buttons in this section:

Longitudinal...:

Update Act Refs...:

Restore Acts...:

Configure...:

Log...:STATUS STRING:
At the lower left of each feedback group there is an area where the matlab feedback can display a status string.  If this string indicates an error in the matlab processing it will be surrounded by a yellow (warning) or red (error) box. The text will describe the error seen by the Matlab feedback application.
