Currently two sets of data are loaded into the Astro server

  • LEOScience – early data, mainly for testing.
  • Level1 – subset of data from level 1 processing.

Currently the Level1 dataset is composed of all output from L1 processing that meets the following requirements:

All runs with:

No Format

   sIntent in ('nomSciOps','nomSciOps_noSkirtCno_noCno','nomSciOps_noCno','nomSciOps_altCno','nomSciOps_topCno',
               'nomSO_noSk_noCno_optGccc_allEna','hldCalib_Nom','hldCalib_Lo','hldCalib_Hi')
OR
   (sIntent = 'nomSciOps_Emin5MeV' AND l.runmin>242070455)

The last clause is required because there were ealier 'nomSciOps_Emin5MeV' runs which were deemed unfit for use since they were taken immediately after the load shed when the detector was still "cold".

New data are loaded into the astro server as soon as the Level 1 processing is complete.

The datasets loaded into the astro server are subject to change as we decide which are the most useful datasets, and as we reprocess dataSee the official LAT Dataset Definitions page for a description of the datasets in the astro server.
