SLAC is undergoing a DOE cybersecurity assessment throughout  throughout this year. SLAC IT carried out some preparations for this assessment beginning in March of this year. These preparations included hiring a security testing company, Shorebreak Security, to conduct various cybersecurity-related tests of the SLAC IT systems.
