60s10s
$(P):RACK:PositionString to hold a description of the rack positionyes
$(P):nn:DoseRateread back of dose from GM tube nn (01-10) in mR/hr (close enough, it saturates at xxx)
60s10s
$(P):nn:Positionstring to hold a description of the position of GM tube number nnyes
$(P):SEQsequence to readout the PVs at 1 Hz. The SEQ record has a delay of 0.06 seconds between sending 1 to each PV's PROC field so commands don't collide in the cable

There are two sets of decarads (10 heads + central unit) so the PVs listed above are doubled and differentiated by $(P).
Suggested $(P) = RADM:SYS0:100 or RADM:SYS0:200 for the two systems.

To Do:

  • Order from
    TECO - 80/20
Amazon - extension cord, enet cables, reels
    L-Com - DB9 connector parts
    McMaster-Carr - carts, velcro zip-ties
    (Thank you Bernadette!)
  • PV names approved
  • Test save/restore and see what values HVSTAT gets
  • Release EPICS software, start softioc
  • Release display, add button to another display to open it
  • Test software: displays, save/restore, archiving
  • Build frames
  • Buy carts, cables, cable reels, connectors
  • Make DB9/RJ50 cables
  • Ask Charlie to configure Digis
  • Assemble carts and extension cords and enet cables on reels
  • Cable tags - so know which cables are short (use in the middle (4-7)) and which are long (use on the ends (1-3, 8-10)? And in case need to connect to central box.
