Freezer Monitoring
The freezer monitoring in grafana can be accessed from within the SLAC network.
To view the grafana pages from outside SLAC connect the SLAC through VPN first.
Currently the freezer has two sets of sensors (a bundle of 3 thermocouples and a bundle of 5 PT100)
The grafana panel can be accessed at http://atlascr.slac.stanford.edu:3000/d/wSDa5_7Mz/freezer?orgId=1

UPS Monitoring
The freezer monitoring PC is on a small UPS. The UPS is monitored and the status is available in
grafana as well: http://atlascr.slac.stanford.edu:3000/d/GlT6Oi8Gk/ups?orgId=1&from=now-3h&to=now
Alarm Triggering
An alarm is triggered when the system is on UPS for longer than 30 seconds, or any of the sensors exceed the alarm
trigger limit for two consecutive alarm check measurements (measurements are taken every 5 minutes).
Contacts are notified through a phone alert system starting with the first contact on a list and, should the alarm condition persist,
the second contact is notified 5 minutes later until all contacts have been called once.
In addition, the system sends emails every 5 minutes.
What likely to expect during building 33 power outages
The general and Atlas clean room computing infrastructure (network, servers) will not work, but the monitoring PC will continue to log temperature data to local disk.
Email notifications will not work, but the phone alert system will still be able to make calls through the SLAC phone system.
Checking the system status by phone
An automated service reading back the current system status can be reached at SLAC extension 650 926 8912. Passcode (2857 (ATLS)).
