It is seen that Italy was the first country country whose Covid-19 confirmed cases spike. This was followed by Spain then Germany and France. Germany was particularly successful in suppressing its peak. The UK has along a long tail and the virus has just run away in the US which now has about 10 times more confirmed cases as as the other countries with the exception of Spain. Recently Spain has seen an uptick in cases
