  • When you are done, hit the Continue button to save the connection profile
  • You can hit Connect to start the connection
  • You will be prompted for your username and password. Enter your SLAC's Unix account and hit OK.
  • Click on 'New virtual desktop or custom session'
  • Click 'Create a new GNOME virtual desktop'. You will be logged in after that.
  • Access menu: Ctrl-Alt-0, or click on upper right corner of the nomachine desktop screen to bring up the nomachine setting screen
  • Click on Display, select 'Resize remote screen'. This will allow the screen resolution to be scaled to the Windows size. So you can change the screen resolution to change on the fly when you adjust the size of the Nomachine Windows by dragging it.
