What is this?
A Wikipedia-like attempt at providing a one-stop shop for hardware and software integration information on equipment commonly used at SLAC.
Why?
Because there will always be someone, who has no experience with a particular piece of hardware, but needs to learn how to make it work, or how to design around it. My goal for Gear Wiki is that we no longer have to learn the hard way.
