Setup env in  any np04 machine:

source /nfs/sw/rce/setup.sh

Popup a GUI:

rce_talk CERN-100 start_gui &

Reset RCE:

In "System" tab, press "HardReset", "SoftReset", "Set Defaults" in the given order.

Monitor timing status:

Go to "Status" tab, look for "DataDpmTiming(0)".

The TimingRxStatus = 12 indicates an error in time stamp check.

It can be cleared by issuing a reboot command: "rce_talk CERN-100 reboot".

After reboot, wait for ~1 min and start the GUI again.

The TimingRxStatus = 6 means waiting for a sync command from the timing system.

On Sep 2017, it changes to 12 (error) when the RCE receive a sync command. It can be resolved after reboot (see above).

The TimingRxStatus = 8 tells the RCE is GOOD to go.

Once the trigger is set, you should be able to see the trigger rate in "TimingTrigRate", and the trigger counter "TriggerCnt" in the "Status" page.
