Thanks Matt. What do you do to require that the putative track should lie within the acceptance? I assume these are 5 or 6 hits? Time criterion, etc? Please list all the selections for both the tag and the probe!
There isn't much beyond what's listed...mostly it's just the track and cluster definitions we use in recon. I've attached the note I wrote which has more details.
Great. I've written some text to go with already and will start to integrate. One thing I did wonder was whether we should compare to MC for some things and this would be one to consider, but I'll write it without those plots and see how that seems. I've got to chop a lot out as it is already...

Can I get a root file for this, so I can start to put in a unified style?
Mathew Graham
I've included the macro I use (dumbEfficiencyPlots.py) that takes the histograms from hps_005755_engrun2015_tweakpass6_TopBot_LeftRight.root , makes the probe/tag ratio and then makes the 2-y-axis plot.
I also included the root file of just the efficiency plots.

In dumbEfficiencyPlots.py, look for
...stuff below that is where the plot formatting is done.
This script spits out a couple of other plots as well...
