SVT DAQ Task List

Critical items:

  1. Take data with front end through CODA on a single board with single hybrid, verify function of data path firmware. 11/11
  2. Repeat item 1 with multiple boards 11/12
  3. Verify clock and trigger alignment across multiple boards 11/14
  4. Verify ability to load threshold configurations in software and firmware 11/21
  5. Start taking long runs to test stability on 11/12

 


Non critical items (improving base design)

  1. Change frame structure of front end to DPM data. This will allow us to lower the link rate for lower trigger rates. Also allows us to properly detect tag events with errors.
  2. Add FIR filter to data path, add configuration to software. Not sure if needed.
