Present: Stepan, Matt, Tim, Pelle, Takashi, John

1. News
Stepan talked extensively to Yuri Gershtein and Keith Griffioen about their involvement in the Muon System and its design and planned construction. They worked out remaining concerns Keith and Yuri had about their responsibilities as chair/deputy. They'll submit an MRI next week for ~ 200k. They'll need engineering help from JLAB or SLAC. Since we won't know if NSF will fund the system, there is a question of how we account this system in our proposal.

Stepan also talked to an Argonne CLAS collaborator interested in exploring membership in HPS. They could help with software and slow controls. They wanted a large hardware project, which doesn't seem in the cards.

An Ecal meeting has been established. First meeting was today, at 9:30AM Eastern. If SLAC wants to participate (Sho maybe), they'll consider making the meeting somewhat later.

2. System Outlines.
Tim gave a brief overview of the SVT section, which will be largely as presented in earlier proposals.
Pelle is coordinating the Trigger/DAQ section, and showed us the outline he has prepared. Valery has already contributed a lot of text. Data rates and data transfer have some overlap with the general data transfer section. Pelle will coordinate with Homer and Omar.
We haven't yet heard plans for the muon system "chapter". This may follow from the MRI which is being prepared for submission next week.
The beamline section has been discussed in the beamline meeting, and needs info on target, new beamline drawings, and the muon vac chamber. The present text has some discussion of diagnostics.
