Notes:

Maurizio presented his work on an EVIO interface in C++. The interface gets the decoding information from a database. He will shortly implement an option allow you to get this information from an XML file as well. This could then be implemented in Java, which is what Homer is looking into. Homer will give a presentation about this next week.

Maurizio will use this interface to write a raw data viewer based on "rootspy". The details of this will come later.

Matt mentioned that a new Stanford student got up to speed with slic and lcsim. The student will use the new mapped magnetic field in slic and then compare results between mapped and standard magnetic fields using lcsim. This will inform the decision on whether the tracking needs to use a mapped field or not.
