FE boards

FE boards are being routed. Ben asked Tung and he expected a first result by end of next week (Jan. 17th).
The order for parts for the FE board had been drawn out by Lupe and Ben. Everything seems to be in stock with expected lead time of 3-4 days. We should order it this week.
We expect to have the first loaded FE board in our hands in 3-4 weeks.

Ben also reported that he is testing the FE board firmware and it looks good so far.

We should think about if we need temporary adapters in order to test the FE boards. To a minimum we need to power the FE board with an adapter that brings the power onto the board. If we need to readout hybrids before we have the flex cables we need something to replace it. Tim and Ben talked about designing a very simple flex to use for testing. Tim was hoping that flex cables might be on time for when we need to test with hybrids (~5w).

New hybrid QA

Omar showed the QA results for the new hybrid (which had the T components removed to remove the short). The status of the hybrid look in general good. The noise went down with 25%, Omar should verify based on the older hybrid results. There was a relatively large effect on the noise of the edge channels from changing the sampling point. With the new daq we will be able to change it individually for each hybrid so it's ok. One feature that we think we haven't seen before was that the response from charge injections seemed to vary across the chips on the hybrid. Omar will check how this looked for the old hybrids. We decided that Omar should go ahead and do all the QA studies before we sign off for another spin of the hybrids.

Flange boards

There was some discussion about potting the flange boards. When we'll have a loaded flange board we can go ahead and go into details on how large the slots need to be and how to pot them. We have flanges for testing.

Procurement

There had been some problems greeting the power supply ordered but was finally ordered last week; a month later than we had hoped.

The HV wire will be black (they had it in stock) and red.
