- Clustered Systems Request (to be discussed in the next meeting)

As a result of the DOE $2.8M Recovery Act funding, Clustered Systems is developing the first 100KW Computer Rack, which will render approximately 50 teraflops of compute power. This rack is planned to be delivered to SLAC in September, 2011 for intensive testing. At this point and for the life of the system, SLAC Scientific Computing will have exclusive rights to the compute power delivered by this prototype.

Phil Hughes, the CEO of Clustered Systems has requested a small space in our booth to display an example of this technology (not the whole rack). Norm would assist with the development and delivery of the display unit.
