  • List of Fermi users requiring RHEL5-32 access
  • Need of a RHEL5-64 build box (we were using the long queue)
  • What queue should we use for RHEL6-64? (We are using buildq)
  • Mac Moutain Lion ppa-pc90719 support
    • Need to automate restart on Mountain Lion

This is now started using launchd  from ~glastrm/Library/LaunchDaemons/monitor-jenkins.plist, but does not start automatically after a reboot. Instructions to start:

ssh glastrm@ppa-pc90719 (password in escrow as macglastrm)
      ppa-pc90719:~ glastrm$ cd /Users/glastrm/Library/LaunchDaemons
      ppa-pc90719:LaunchDaemons glastrm$ launchctl load monitor-jenkins.plist
      ppa-pc90719:LaunchDaemons glastrm$ launchctl start monitor_jenkins

    • Maverick VM status
  • glastlnx07 - almost..
  • bldlnx11 status

Notes:

  • The user list for rhel5-32 has been communicated.
  • Renata will research the status of RHEL5-64 and RHEL6-64 in the queues

both the buildq and bldlongq have a rhel5 64 and a rhel6 64.  LSF doesn't support 32 bit (except as a client), so if that is needed I guess you will have to go with jenkins.

Just fyi, the 32 bit rhel5 build machines are:
    bldlnx06
    bldlnx10
    bldlnx12
(bldlnx11 is alsot 32 bit rhel5, but it appears to be down at the moment).
And there is one 32 bit rhel6: bldlnx03

Further emails from Renata confirm that buildq and bldlongq are identical in terms of what boxes are assigned to them at the moment, but bldlongq has a restricted user access list that does not currently include "glast" or "glastrm"

  • Yemi has the automate the restart on Mountain Lion on his list.
  • Richard/Tony inquired about the Maverick VM ticket. We confirmed ppa-pc90719 is in Bldg 84/Room 101.
  • bldlnx11 is currently down or shut down.
