Daily snaphots, and back up with TSM (Tivoli)
THRONG directory for Web: /pbs/www or SPS ? (default for CentOS 7 hosts: smooth migration)
$HOME directories --> /pbs/home
/usr/local --> pbs ? /pbs/throng/group for software installation
This new PBS infrastructure relies on an Isilon NAS (110 TB)
Soon: 2x800 GB SSD for meta-data
Databases: ongoing migration from MySQL to MariaDB. Should be complete before end of 2017.
Oracle will be updated to version 12c in 2017
Latest UGE update in December 2016 added full Docker support, plus virtual WNs and GPU WNs.
Docker feature not yet available, documentation still missing. Should be fixed within the next few months.
Migration from SL6 to CentOS 7. 10 WNs running CentOS 7 are available for testing (use -l os=cl7 to submit jobs to those hosts)
