To reinitialize motors when powering back on:
Waveplates (Newport XPS 4 motors)
- Go to Laser>Laser (Systems)>Other>Newport XPS_4
- Waveplates GH/IJ
- Click “initialize all”
- Wait for each motor to refresh with “initialize / “Reference”
- At the top of the page click “Initialize all”
- At the top of the page click “Reference all”
Waveplates AB/EF with MForce connection
- Go to Laser>Laser Systems>NS-Laser>Polarizer
- Click on the “expert” button in the epics window
- Click on the “Clear Power-Up” button
SHG (Newport XPS3 motors)
- Go to Laser>Laser Systems>Other>Newport XPS>Newport XPS_3 (TimeTool)
- SHG AB/EF/GH/IJ
- Perform the same procedure as listed above for Newport XPS 4
