Herein lies the procedure to interface LICOS and AstroRT at SLAC:
- Log into Spectrum PC. Obtain the password from Jana, Gregg or Bryson
- Spectrum PC: Double-click the icon labeled "Glast AstroRT V2"
- Spectrum PC: Double-click the line in the info box "Spacecraft"
- Spectrum PC: Double click the line in the new info box "Spacecraft"
- Spectrum PC: From the "GLAST Main Menu" GUI, select the menu sequence:
"Commanding" ? "Select/Send Command" - Spectrum PC: Examine the "GLAST Main Menu" GUI, make sure that apIDs > 500 are appearing. If not, recable
- Spectrum PC: From the new "Command Selection" GUI, select the menu sequence:
"TCP/IP" ? "Connect" - Spectrum PC: From the "GLAST Main Menu" GUI, execute the menu sequence:
"Application" ? "Science DAQ" - Spectrum PC: From the new "LVDS DAQ Main" GUI, execute the menu sequence:
"TCP/IP" ? "Connect" - Spectrum PC: From the "GLAST Main Menu" GUI, execute the menu sequence:
"Application" ? "LICOS I&T Server" - Log into lat-balrog. Obtain an account from Jim or Bryson if needed.
- lat-balrog: Set up a workdir if needed. Copy configurations from ~panetta/Online/workdir if needed.
- lat-balrog: Start AstroRT Interface proxy:
$ONLINE_ROOT/LICOS_ETC/start/astroRtIf.csh --astroConfig astroTest.cfg --vscConfig vsc.cfg
- Spectrum PC: Wait for <???> light on "LICOS CMD_Server" GUI to turn green.
- Spectrum PC: From the "LICOS CMD_Server" GUI, select the menu sequence:
"Options" ? "OTCC Ready?" ? "Ready" - lat-balrog: Start Telem and Diag proxies with --vscip pointing to localhost.
- lat-balrog: Start ScriptEngine with --server pointing to localhost
