Welcome to the Summer Internship Program at SLAC's Facility for Advanced Accelerator Experimental Tests (FACET-II)! This summer promises to be an exciting journey of learning, innovation, and professional growth. Tours for Interns at FACET-II

  • General Accelerator Tour (Organized by Hillary Freeman)
  • Spooky Tour (Organized by Carsten Hast)

Transportation to SLAC

  • Busses (download the ETA SPOT app to see when the busses run) - pickups every 40 minutes (8:20, 9:00, 9:40 am)
  • Carpool (ask Matthew for a ride)
  • Bikes (can rent from stanford campus, can buy for cheap on facebook marketplace)

Additional Information

  • Spencer will take the interns to play Paintball if they are good
  • Alpine Inn social (where the original SLAC accelerator idea was conceived)
  • Avoid learning Lucretia at all costs
  • Pickleball on Tuesday and Fridays from 4-6 pm (it is mandatory to leave work for this)
  • Don't mess with the ZOOX self-driving cars or you will get in big trouble
