SC3 or SSC: Serial Sample Chamber

  • Location of the refocused 1 micron beam
  • Used as diagnostics for gas run
    • cxi_sc3_inline_opal camera is used to check beam on SC3 YAG
    • SC3 YAG is on PI3 Stage Motors

Mirror on Ap Stand can move into the beam and couple UV laser out for diagnostics.

Two important positions:

  • Clear YAG
    • Ap Stand = -9
    • PI3 Y = 48.0326 (as of 2022-06-11, this position can change if changed YAG paddle)
    • PI3 X = 10.8484 (as of 2022-06-11, this position can change if changed YAG paddle)
    • When moving to this position, we should move the Ap Stand to the YAG position first, then insert the YAG to the down position
  • Out-coupling Mirror for UV I0
    • PI3 Y = 109 (to take YAG out)
    • Ap Stand = -115
    • When moving to this position, we should move YAG out first, then move the Ap Stand to the mirror position
