from Meng:
The Jungfrau tripper has been implemented and we should only run with it ON from now on.
There are 2 PVs that can be set (using caput) to change the tripper thresholds.
CXI:JF4M:TRIPPER:ADU
Sets the trip value. This number is the amount of ADU below the saturation ADU (16,000) in low gain.
Ex: caput CXI:JF4M:TRIPPER:ADU 2000 (recommended)
Sets it 2000 ADU below saturation.
Ex: caput CXI:JF4M:TRIPPER:ADU 15000 (if you want to see if there are pixels getting into low gain)
CXI:JF4M:TRIPPER:DPI
Sets the number of pixels which can be allowed to be above this value. With no beam, there was on the order of 10-20 pixels which were above this threshold and those are probably pixels which are not being properly accounted for in the pedestal.
That pixel number can be monitored with online monitoring – it is under JungfrauTrip and is a plot of the number of pixels over time.
It seemed fine when taking a pedestal, but if there are some issues regarding that, you can disable the tripper when taking a pedestal.
If it is tripped, use Clear Alarm to reset.
I would like to stress that this should be enabled at ALL TIMES from now on.
