The Experiment Control Systems group and DAQ group (formerly 1/3 of the Photon Control and Data Systems (PCDS) group) is responsible for providing all the control and data systems needed by the photon side of the Linac Coherent Light Source (LCLS).
PCDS featured in SLAC Today: June 12, 2013 and February 24, 2010.
Included are slow controls (motors, vacuum, supplies, cameras) and fast data-acquisition, real-time online processing, data storage and data reprocessing & analysis, and support of users.
