TOPIC: What is the SLC db secondary which is the logical "PACT" equivalent
to PDES?

Ans: PHAS

TOPIC: Model and LEM support
----------------------------
It was determined that the requirements for the online model and LEM would
be fulfilled by the already decided additions to bdes_to_kmod and
klys_get_energy/phase (see 1). The bdes_to_kmod is presently functional
for the linac.

RESOLUTION: LEM is not absolutely necessary for BC-1, but is desirable.
Still, since online model requires bdes_to_kmod, and bdes_to_kmod requires
klys_get_energy, those are necessary irrespective of use in LEM.

Action Items
AI 1: Update bdes_to_kmod for the off-axis part of LCLS, and the
spectrometer (MDW).
AI 2: Look at work necessary to make the LEM displays show values for EPICS
controlled klystrons (MDW).
AI 3: Teach klys_get_energy/phase to interface to EPICS klystrons (MZ).

TOPIC: Klystron "Green" Application
-----------------------------------
It's assumed that the function of the "Green" application is to keep the
phase amplitudes at their setpoints and is used by paranoid in its autotrim.
In general it's assumed that we will not use this application in LCLS, so we
will see whether the HDSC bits (eg bit 0x0001) can be used to turn off the
action of paranoia.

AI 4: Investigate HDSC bits for disabling action of Green and paranoia, and
set those bits for the LCLS klystrons of the "old" system so that trimming
actions do not have control actions (MZ, JT)

TOPIC: Configs
--------------
It was noted that configs for EPICS controlled klystrons phase values can be
recorded in SLC configs, by just putting the PV name and values in a config
file.

RESOLUTION: We will use the SLC configs system for the EPICS klystron
configuration.

AI 5: Remove the 20-5, 20-6, 20-7, 20-8, 21-1 and 21-2 klystrons from the
template file for the existing config regions. Create a new SLC configs
region for LCLS klystrons and populate with the following PVs (GW,NCS):

LLRF:IN20:RH:L0A_PDES
LLRF:IN20:RH:L0A_ADES
LLRF:IN20:RH:L0B_PDES
LLRF:IN20:RH:L0B_ADES
LLRF:IN20:RH:L1X_PDES
LLRF:IN20:RH:L1X_ADES
LLRF:IN20:RH:L1S_PDES
LLRF:IN20:RH:L1S_ADES
LLRF:IN20:RH:TC0_PDES
LLRF:IN20:RH:TC0_ADES
LLRF:IN20:RH:GN1_PDES
LLRF:IN20:RH:GN1_ADES
LLRF:IN20:RH:GN2_PDES
LLRF:IN20:RH:GN2_ADES

TOPIC: Klystron Golding
-----------------------
Klystron golding, that is "re-zeroing" the phase readback, will be done for
the new EPICS klystrons by new code that does it for those klystrons only.

RESOLUTION: SLC's Klystron golding will not be supported for EPICS
klystrons. No further action required.

TOPIC: Slow feedbacks
---------------------
No explicit slow feedback, or monitoring feedback, will be necessary for the
EPICS klystrons.

RESOLUTION: No further action required for slow feedback support.

TOPIC: Drive Level in-range check
-----------------------------------
There should be some application which periodically checks that the drive levels are within operating range. The result could be displayed in an SLC
CUD display (Patrick), or one of the EPICS displays for klsytron control
(Joe) (or presumably in the EPICS Alarm Watcher (greg)).

Question: What are valid ranges?

AI 6: Forward the SLC or EPICS PV names of the drive levels, and valid
operating ranges to Greg (JT) - see 2.
AI 7: Determine how the alarm will be done (greg).
