Help for Longitudinal Feedbacks

This Help screen applies to all Longitudinal Feedbacks currently commissioned; there are seven feedback configured up through BC2. The longitudinal feedbacks adjust the phase and / or amplitude of the L0B RF, L1S RF,and L2 24-1 and 24-2 phases, in order to maintain the desired energy and / or bunchlength at different points along the beamline. The DL2 Energy portion is not yet operational.

This screen is arranged in three sections; States, Actuators, Measurements.

STATES:

This is a column of plots of all the possible states being maintained by the longitudinal feedbacks. If the chosen feedback is active, then the plot for each state configured for the chosen feedback will be continuously updating with calculated state data.

ACTUATORS:

This is a column of plots of all the possible actuators being controlled by longitudinal feedbacks. If the chosen feedback is active, then the plot for each actuator configured for the chosen feedback will be continuously updating with calculated settings.

MEASUREMENTS:

This is a column of plots of all the possible measurements being taken for the longitudinal feedbacks. If the chosen feedback is active, then the plot for each measurement device configured for the chosen feedback will be continuously updating with the measured data used in the feedback.

Right-click on any plot, then choose 'perform auto-scale' to have the graph automatically choose an appropriate scale for the current data.
