IMS motors are somewhat outdated and are not used in LCLS-II upgrade equipment. However, they still have a strong presence in the far hall and are often in need of trouble shooting. This document is to walk you through the simple procedure of moving a motor as well as the more complex steps of diagnosing IMS motor issues.
Moving IMS motors
get onto a hutch machine (e.g. cxi-control, xpp-monitor, ... ) and open up the Epics home screen for that hutch (e.g.
