- If your absorption edge is NOT listed below, you cannot run it at BL 14-3a
- BL14-3 is the only SSRL XAS beam line which can reach the P K edge at 2.1 keV.
- If your proposal does not include work at the P (phosphorus) K edge, your low-Z XAS beam time will be shifted to BL 4-3. BL 14-3a has a limited run time each scheduling period, so P K edge XAS is given priority.
- For absorption energies between 2.4 and 10 keV, BL 4-3 is typically used.
- For absorption edge energies > 10 keV, please consider one of our hard X-ray beam lines: 4-1, 7-3, 9-3, 11-2
- Low-Z XAS configuration: Edge energies from 2.1 to 5 keV
