Internal triggers

In order to perform internal trigger one has to perform the following configurations using the Rogue GUI interface

  1. Set the auto trigger period
  2. If enabled, disable the PgpTrigEn (it will prevent auto, or external triggers to be issued)
  3. Enable RunTriggerEnable AND AutoRunEn
    1. At this point the internal counters start and after a initialization of 2x the AutoTriggerPeriod the run triggers start being issued)
  4. One the camera is thermally stable, enable the AutDatEn AND DaqTriggerEnable to start issuing DaqTriggers
    1. At this point the DataSend command will also be issued allow the camera to send the image data out

Taking Data in simulation


  1. Set Register Control (load the same file as with real hardware)
  2. Set PacketRegisters (load the same file as with real hardware)
  3. Check SspLowSpeedDecoderReg and confirm all emulated lanes have locked
  4. Configure AutoTrigger to enable both Run and Daq triggers
