Here is detailed information for the experimental set-up:
Known Problems:
XTCS Newport Stages
URS150 rotational stage reference but will stall on move. The UTS150 linear stage now works using "default" settings. A lot of time was spent between Christian, Eric, and Nick understanding connection and pin layout flipping throughout the cable routing from controller to stage.
XTCS Filter Wheel
A new air-side DB15 to MForce cable was fabricated and installed today. Instead of a new IOC this device was connected to the user dumb motor patch panel and set up using the "XUV Filter Position" configuration.
The comments on the XTCS cable list for the filter wheel are:
- Beckhoff, not a regular dumbmotor; probably go slightly longer (5-10 cm) but not any shorter. - same as the XUV spectrometer. (So we are using the correct parameters).
The device connects but no motion occurs at the stage.
The XTCS Filter Wheel configuration is:
- MEC:USR:MMS:20 on user motor patch panel (Rack PR60)
- Connections from outer flange to patch panel include custom cable and a MForce extension cable. (one flip)
- Connections from inner flange to bulkhead are in-place DB15 (second flip) and a DB15 extension cable.

- replacement for GIGE4
- replaced with GIGE8, known on camViewer and MEC screens as the beamline camera XRay_Imaging.
