Confluence was upgraded on 13 March to a new major version to address cyber security issues.
The new version of Confluence required a significant change to identity management, which involved how usernames are handled internally. This was transparent to users, and federated access control is working as it should.
However, after this change some users lost ownership of their personal pages. The pages are still present, and can be found by using search. But they are not listed as the user's default personal pages, and cannot be edited by the user. The line under the page title will indicate "Created by Unknown User (jsmith)...".
Likewise, if you have a link to space that used to work but no longer does, try searching for the space.
We are working with Atlassian to remedy this situation. For the time being, the pages for some users will effectively remain "read only".
Jira Known Issues:
Users are missing their Dashboards, Assigned tickets, tickets they reported.
Also ticket might not show in the Jira Macro on Confluence if you do not have permission to see them.
We have a fix we are testing and should be in place soon. Be on the look out for an outage message to come soon.
