Joanne Bogart has been a scientific programmer for the Fermi Large Area Telescope since 2000. Projects have included geometry description, calibration infrastructure, build system conversion (all for Offline) and instrument configuration (Online).

Joanne received a B.S. from Stanford and Ph.D. from Cornell, both in mathematics.  She first came to SLAC in 1982 to work on the SLAC Linear Collider (SLC) control system. Several years later she joined the SLAC Large Detector (SLD) collaboration, the primary experiment to make use of the SLC. Her responsibilities on SLD included the calibration system and parts of the trigger system.
