Heather Kelly has worked on Fermi's Large Area Telescope (LAT) since 1995.  Recent work has involved overseeing the offline software infrastructure. This includes work concerning build systems (CMT and SCons), external libraries (Gaudi, Root, cfitsio, etc), and continuing care and feeding of our ROOT based I/O for our offline simulation and reconstruction software.

Heather received her B.Sc. in Mathematics and Computer Science from Birmingham Southern College and M.A. in Applied Mathematics from University of Maryland, College Park.  Heather started as a graduate student at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center in 1994.  She would later become a contractor at GSFC working on Fermi's Monte Carlo and reconstruction simulations.  She has been involved in Fermi's Anti-Coincidence Detector simulations, ROOT I/O, and migration to use Gaudi as our software framework.
