If the keyboard on the unix terminal you're using isn't typing by the normal QWERTY combination.


Step-by-step guide

Add the steps involved:

  1. Go in to terminal
  2. Hunt out the text to type:

    setxkbmap us


  3. Consider putting this in the startup file if it's not there already
